Dobbs Ferry Food Pantry

Our Mission

On any Wednesday morning, clients of the Dobbs Ferry Food Pantry step into a world that we’ve created together—volunteers helping clients, folks dropping off donations, and people in need of food looking out for each other.

We first welcomed our Dobbs Ferry neighbors in 2011, as well as residents of Ardsley and Irvington, which do not have food pantries. We also help families who live in a pocket of Greenburgh (10502, 10503, 10522, 10533, 10607).

Our pantry is located at South Presbyterian Church in Dobbs Ferry, which sponsors and houses the pantry. We also depend on the support of Feeding Westchester, a member of Feeding America, a nonprofit network of 200 food banks in the U.S. and the largest domestic hunger-relief organization.

Volunteers staff our pantry, and donations of money and food help feed our neighbors—all monetary donations are tax deductible. We serve about 100 families a week, but for roughly 18 months of the pandemic we helped up to 150 families, around 600 people each week. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, gender, age, and disability.
